The number of FBI personnel involved in the agency’s probe of Hillary Clinton’s email server is smaller than initially reported this week, according to NBC News.

The Washington Post had reported late Sunday that 147 agents were involved in the investigation surrounding Clinton’s email arrangement, which raised eyebrows.

{mosads}That was based on information provided by a lawmaker briefed by FBI Director James Comey, according to the Post.

NBC News reported that there are “currently about 12 FBI agents working full-time on the case,” citing an anonymous former federal law enforcement official with knowledge of the investigation.
