Democrats are needling Donald Trump over his loss in the Wisconsin primary on Tuesday, which has reinvigorated Republican rivals’ hopes at defeating the presidential front-runner.
The Democratic National Committee (DNC) released a video Wednesday of media clips showing Trump describing various things as “unfair” a dozen times in as many seconds.
{mosads}The video cuts to CNN’s Anderson Cooper telling Trump during a town hall last week, “Sir, with all due respect, that’s the argument of a 5-year-old.” Trump responds, “I didn’t start it.”
A child’s wail is heard as the clip wraps up. In a statement accompanying the release of the “Trumper-tantrum” video, the DNC accused the GOP candidate of trying to “play the victim.”
Democrats have sought to cast doubt on the business mogul’s temperament, describing it as unsuitable for the White House — something Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton has also seized on.
Trump said during a rally heading into the Wisconsin primary on Tuesday he could act “more presidential” if he wanted, but suggested it’d be “boring as hell.”
His campaign released a statement after his loss to Ted Cruz on Tuesday in which it portrayed the Texas senator’s win as illegitimate and unfair.
