Several injured in stabbing attack on Swiss train

At least 6 people are injured after a man set a train on fire and stabbed several passengers in northeast Switzerland, according to a report by Fox News.

{mosads}Local police said that the incident occurred at 2:20 in the afternoon on Saturday at the Salez train station near Lichtenstein. 

A Swiss newspaper on Saturday reported that police do not believe that the incident is terror-related, and the authorities are investigating the motive behind the attack. 

The stabbing prompted a quick response from the Swiss emergency services, including three rescue helicopters as well as multiple ambulances, doctors, and police units to the scene. 

The condition of the victims is unknown, with some reportedly suffering serious injuries.

The youngest victim of the stabbing is 6 years old.
