The New York Police Department on Monday identified a suspect in Saturday night’s bombing in the city’s Chelsea neighborhood.

The NYPD said Ahmad Khan Rahami, 28, is wanted in connection with the bombing, which injured 29 people.

The FBI said Rahami is a U.S. citizen born in Afghanistan.

Police also have connected the bombing in Chelsea to a separate incident in Seaside Park, N.J. The same man is wanted for questioning in connection with both incidents, according to The Associated Press.

A pipe bomb exploded in Seaside Park on Saturday afternoon. No injuries were reported in that incident.

Rahami, whose last known address is in Elizabeth, N.J., is about 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighs approximately 200 pounds. He has brown hair, brown eyes, and brown facial hair.

{mosads}The Washington Post reported that “a number of people” were taken into custody by New York authorities in connection with the incident. As of early Monday, no one had been charged, according to the Post.

CNN, meanwhile, reported that a possible terror cell is suspected in New York and New Jersey after bomb blasts in the two states.

As the investigation continues, authorities have leads on specific suspects, according to the network.

Federal law enforcement officials said Monday that BBs and ball bearings were included in the pieces of metal found in both pressure cooker bombs in New York.

On Sunday night, a backpack that had multiple devices was found near an Elizabeth train station.

Early Monday, one of those devices exploded outside a train station, the mayor of Elizabeth said. A bomb squad robot was “cutting into the device when it exploded,” according to NBC News.
