‘How did Trump win?’ tops Google searches
“How did Trump win?” and “Why did Trump win?” are two of Wednesday’s most searched phrases on Google, according to the company.
The search terms’ popularity suggests people are trying to come to grips with Republican Donald Trump’s surprise win in the presidential election.

Democrat Hillary Clinton was favored to win in most national polls, leaving many of her supporters wondering what happened.

Other questions being asked in the wake of the election include when is Donald Trump’s first day in office, what will Hillary do now and will Donald Trump prosecute Clinton.
Outside of the U.S., people had more basic questions such as “Who is Donald Trump?” and “How old is Donald Trump?”
