Report: Trump wants as many as 5 generals in Cabinet

President-elect Donald Trump is considering tapping as many as five generals for his Cabinet, Politico reported Friday.

{mosads}Trump has already selected three retired top military officers for his administration — Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn for national security adviser, Gen. James Mattis for Defense secretary and Gen. John Kelly for Homeland Security secretary.

He’s also reportedly considering retired Adm. James Stavridis and former Gen. David Petraeus for the coveted secretary of State position.

For director of national intelligence, the president-elect is thinking about choosing Petraeus — if he does not make the cut for State — and Adm. Michael Rogers, the current head of the National Security Agency.

Politico reported that Trump seems to be infatuated with military leaders and frequently watches the 1970 film “Patton” about World War II legend Gen. George Patton.
