A Washington, D.C., councilmember is offering up her office to participants in the Women’s March on Washington that is taking place the day after President-elect Donald Trump’s inauguration.
Mary Cheh’s office issued a statement on Friday saying that walkers in the Jan. 21 event would be welcomed into her office to “warm up” and use public restrooms. Cheh quickly followed up with a tweet of her own:

Celebrities such as Katy Perry and Scarlett Johansson have signed on to the march, and while the organizers don’t have an exact head count, 187,000 people have RSVPed to the event on Facebook.
Organizers began preparing for the march the day after Trump was elected in November. And what started out as a simple event posted on Facebook has since ballooned into a massive protest effort that has raised more than $1 million to cover logistical preparations and spawned numerous sister marches around the world.
