President Obama’s former campaign manager says Utah Gov. Jon Huntsman (R) is the candidate he most fears.
David Plouffe told ABC4 in Salt Lake City that while no potential challenger makes Obama’s team “shake in [their] shoes,” Huntsman does make him a “wee bit queasy…I think he’s really out there speaking a lot of truth about the direction of the party.”
Huntsman recently spent a weekend speaking to Republicans in Michigan, a key primary state, and garnered national attention for announcing his support for civil unions.
