Secret Service agents investigated for taking selfies with Trump’s sleeping grandson: report

Two Secret Service agents are under investigation for taking photos with President Trump’s grandson while he was sleeping, Mother Jones reported on Thursday.

A source told the publication that the Secret Service agents assigned to guard Donald Trump III were taking selfies with the 8 year old.

{mosads}According to the report, the incident occurred while the president’s grandson was driven from Westchester County, New York, to Manhattan.

The source told Mother Jones Trump III woke up as the agents were taking photos and “freaked out.”

The president’s grandson then informed his family about the incident, prompting an investigation into whether the two agents abandoned their posts while on duty.

“The US Secret Service is aware of a matter involving two of our agents and one of our protectees,”  the Secret Service said in a statement, according to the report.

“Our Office of Professional Responsibility will always thoroughly review a matter to determine the facts and to ensure proper, long-standing protocols and procedures are followed. The Secret Service would caution individuals to not jump to conclusions that may grossly mischaracterize the matter,” the statement added.
