Secret Service employees to face disciplinary action after WH breach: report

Several Secret Service members are expected to be disciplined after an intruder bypassed White House security earlier this month, CNN reported on Thursday.

A Secret Service source told the news network that at least six employees are likely to face disciplinary measures following a March 10 incident.

According to the source, the employees include special agents and officers from the uniformed division.

The intruder was apprehended 16 minutes after he first reached the White House grounds.
“The men and women of the Secret Service are extremely disappointed and angry in how the events of March 10 transpired,” the Secret Service said last week, stating that lapses in security protools were immediately addressed by the agency, CNN noted.
