VIDEO: Palin tears up during speech
During a speech to the Vandenberg County Right to Life banquet in Indiana last night, Gov. Sarah Palin (R-Alaska) teared up when discussing her son Trig, who has Down Syndrome.
Palin said that while she was pregnant with Trig, she wasn’t sure she would be equipped to raise a child with special needs.
“I had to call upon my faith and ask that my heart be filled up,” she said. “And I’ll tell you the moment he was born, I knew that my prayer was answered.”
