‘Covfefe’ trends on social media after Trump shares unfinished tweet with typo

“Covfefe” was the No. 1 trend on Twitter across the U.S. early Wednesday morning after President Trump sent out what appeared to be an unfinished tweet with a typo.

“Despite the constant negative press covfefe,” Trump tweeted shortly after 12 a.m.

Many quickly checked to see if “covfefe” was a word. It isn’t.

{mosads}The lack of a definition led many to invent one for the word, including a pro-Trump Reddit group.

The tweet had over 10,000 reactions in just a half hour. He deleted the tweet shortly before 6 a.m.

Moments later, he asked, “Who can figure out the true meaning of ‘covfefe’ ???”
