House Dems rank budget priorities
It’s relatively uncontroversial to state that solving the economic crisis ought to be Congress’ number one priority. But House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer (D-MD) has gone one step further–well, nine steps further–by ranking the top 10 highlights of House Democrats’ proposed budget.

While the list is a standard litany of Democratic priorities, ranking the issues so starkly could pose some problems. For example, how will veterans groups react to their issues being ranked #7?
