Controversial TV host Jerry Springer says President Trump’s behavior is beneath the dignity “of any decent man.”
“I’m sorry, but Trump’s behavior is not just beneath the dignity of the Presidency…but that of any decent man,” Springer tweeted Friday.
Trump has faced bipartisan blowback for Thursday tweets attacking “Morning Joe” host Mika Brzezinski’s appearance.
{mosads}Trump accused Brzezinski of “bleeding badly from a face-lift” while she and co-host Joe Scarborough were visiting Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort in December.
A number of GOP senators called the comments “beneath the dignity” of the White House, and Speaker Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) said they weren’t appropriate.
Democrats in Ohio are reportedly urging Springer, a former Cincinnati mayor, to run for governor. Springer has considered running for state-wide office before but is reportedly weighing a run more seriously now than he has in the past.
He is best known for hosting “The Jerry Springer Show,” a talk show featuring racy topics and cartoonish fights among guests.
