GOP senator shares experience driving Uber in Iowa after losing bet
Sen. Ben Sasse (R-Neb.) spent part of the congressional recess Friday driving Uber in neighboring Iowa after losing a college football bet.
Sasse bet a journalist that the University of Nebraska Cornhuskers would defeat the Iowa Hawkeyes in a game last November that Nebraska ended up losing, 40-10.
The Nebraska senator, who previously drove for Uber in his home state, donned Hawkeyes gear after losing the bet and live-tweeted about the encounters while driving Uber in Des Moines.
lots of riders chanted “40-10” at me. It hurt https://t.co/w3Ahn0lePg
