Conway’s ‘collusion-illusion’ signs generate memes

Social media users are turning the signs White House counselor Kellyanne Conway used in an interview late Wednesday into memes.

Conway used two hand-made signs to help explain her take on the Russia investigation during an interview with Fox News’s Sean Hannity.

“This is to help all the people at home. What’s the conclusion? Collusion? No, we don’t have that yet,” Conway said, holding up a sheet of paper with the words “conclusion” and “collusion.” The word “collusion” was crossed out on Conway’s paper.

{mosads}Conway then held a second sheet of paper with the words “illusion” and “delusion” written on it, with neither crossed out.

“I see illusion and delusion. So just so we’re clear everyone, four words. Conclusion, collusion no. Illusion, delusion, yes,” she said.

Twitter users were quick to respond to her visual aides.

“Apologies to the humorless,” Conway later tweeted about her use of visual aides.
