Barton calls climate change bill ‘C-R-A-P’
House Energy and Commerce Committee ranking member Joe Barton (R-Texas) called the Democrat’s climate change bill “C-R-A-P” Wednesday morning.
Barton told reporters that the Waxman-Markey cap-and-trade measure needlessly will raise taxes to achieve the goal of clean energy and carbon reduction.
“(Democrats) call it ‘ACES,’ … I call it C-R-A-P,” he said at a press conference Wednesday morning, to unveil the House GOP endorsed energy independence bill.
