Rep. Phil Gingrey (R-Ga.) went on Rush Limbaugh’s show a day after criticizing the conservative talk show host in the media.
“I want to express to you and all your listeners my very sincere regret for the comments I made yesterday,” Gingrey said during a segment in the bottom half of Limbaugh’s first hour. He said his comments expressed the “unique situation of congressional Republicans,” and were meant to defend the leadership of House Minority Leader John Boehner (R-Ohio).
