Building near White House on Fire
This just in, a building at 16th and K, across the street from The Hill’s offices and two blocks from the White House apppears to be on fire. It is spewing smoke from a pipe on the top of the building and flames can be seen coming from the pipe.
Emergency response is pulling up now.
UPDATE: The pipe on the top of the building has stopped smoking and there no longer appears to be any fire. A fire truck is on the scene and a fireman is on the roof.
