Fans waiting to attend the college football national championship in Atlanta on Monday were left waiting in the rain after the stadium was locked down for President Trump’s arrival.
Boos were heard as Trump’s motorcade pulled up to the Mercedes-Benz Stadium, after hundreds of fans were locked out of the stadium and forced to wait in the rain.
{mosads}Trump walked onto the field before the game to a mixture of applause and boos, waving to the crowd.
He stood midfield for the national anthem before leaving to watch Georgia and Alabama compete for the title from a suite.
Trump is also expected to be interviewed during the radio broadcast of the game, according to Alabama news outlet AL.com.
