‘No way’ will Michigan judge punish father who attacked Nassar
A Michigan judge said there’s “no way” she’ll punish the father of three of Larry Nassar’s sexual abuse victims after he lunged at the disgraced former sports doctor inside her courtroom Friday.
Judge Janice Cunningham said punishment isn’t appropriate for Randall Margrave, even though it was wrong to “combat assault with assault,” Fox 17 reported Friday.
“Let me at him,” Margraves shouted as he was tackled by the bailiffs and led out of the room in handcuffs. “Give me one minute with that bastard.” {mosads}
Nassar was sentenced last month to up to 175 years in prisons for decades of sexual abuse against Michigan State University and USA Gymnastics athletes.
The mishandling of hundreds of allegations against Nassar has led to the ousting of MSU’s president. The USA Gymnastics board of directors and lawmakers have also responded by forcing athletic organizations to improve their abuse reporting policies.
