Pat Robertson recovering from stroke
Televangelist Pat Robertson is recovering after suffering from an embolic stroke late last week.
According to a news release from the Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN), which Robertson founded, a family member recognized the onset of the symptoms and rushed Robertson to the nearest stroke center on Friday.
Within minutes of receiving blood-clot medication, Robertson regained awareness and movement in all his limbs, the release says. {mosads}

“Dr. Robertson and his family are grateful to the doctors and emergency personnel for their extraordinary care and rapid response,” it added.
Robertson hosts CBN’s flagship show “The 700 Club.”
