The Empire State Building will go dark Wednesday night to honor the victims of last week’s deadly shooting at a Florida high school.
The building will not be illuminated as brightly as it normally is and its spire will display a rotating “orange halo” to honor the victims of the shooting, according to the building’s website.
The display will be similar to how the building was lit following the deadly mass shooting at a Las Vegas music festival in October.
The building has previously gone dark to honor those killed in a terror attack in New York City in November.

Survivors of the shooting have called for stricter gun control legislation following the attack, and high school students across the country have staged walkouts to demand action from legislatures.
President Trump expressed his condolences for those affected by the shooting and said he would “tackle the difficult issue of mental health.” He also announced Tuesday he had directed the Department of Justice to propose regulations to ban bump stocks, devices that allow semi-automatic guns to be modified to shoot hundreds of rounds per minute.
