David and Lauren Hogg, two siblings who survived the February shooting at their Parkland, Fla., high school, on Wednesday announced that they are releasing a book about how they “turned their grief into action.”
The book, titled “#NeverAgain,” will tell the story of how David, 17, and Lauren, 14, became outspoken and prominent gun control activists after a gunman killed 17 people inside Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School.
“A book by @davidhogg111 and I that tells the story of how we turned our grief into action and how we fight and speak out for those who no longer can,” Lauren posted on Twitter.
The book will be released by Penguin Random House on June 5.
Proceeds will be donated to the community programs for the victims and gun violence prevention “to help heal the community,” David said.
The Hogg siblings were actively involved in the formation of the “Never Again” movement and the planning of the “March for Our Lives” rally in Washington, D.C., following the tragedy.
