Admitted pedophile, rapist running for Virginia congressional seat
Nathan Larson, a self-declared racist and ex-con who advocates for pedophilia and rape, is running for Congress in Virginia’s 10th District.
While speaking to HuffPost on Thursday, the 37-year-old independent candidate from Charlottesville told the publication he identifies as a “quasi-neoreactionary libertarian” who is open about his pedophilia so as to remain unconstrained by “political correctness.”
“A lot of people are tired of political correctness and being constrained by it,” Larson told the outlet. “People prefer when there’s an outsider who doesn’t have anything to lose and is willing to say what’s on a lot of people’s minds.”
Larson confirmed in the interview that he created the now-defunct websites suiped.org and incelocalypse.today — online forums for pedophiles and violence-minded misogynists.
Larson, who was asked whether he identifies as a pedophile or just created content about pedophilia, told the publication, “It’s a mix of both. When people go over the top there’s a grain of truth to what they say.”

Larson also said there was a “grain of truth” to an essay he penned on father-daughter incest and another about raping his ex-wife repeatedly, saying that many women have rape fantasies.
The independent candidate has a daughter who reportedly lives with relatives and whom he has only seen once, according to The Washington Post, which also reported on his candidacy. His ex-wife, HuffPost reported, secured a court-mandated restraining order against Larson in 2015 before she killed herself.
His campaign manifesto includes “stopping the war on drugs,” eliminating all regulations regarding firearms and “putting an end to U.S. involvement in foreign wars arising from our country’s alliance with Israel.”
In the manifesto, Larson also referred to Adolf Hitler as a “white supremacist hero,” argued in a section supporting gun rights that “guns don’t kill people — feminists do,” and said he wants to protect “benevolent white supremacy,” in addition to legalizing child pornography and incestuous marriage.
Larson first ran for Congress in 2008 in Virginia’s 1st District. However, he was later disqualified after threatening to kill either former President George W. Bush or former President Obama, according to the Post.
He spent 14 months in a federal prison for the threat and was reportedly barred from running for public office, HuffPost reports. But after then-Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe (D) restored voting and other civil rights to thousands of felons who had completed their sentences, Larson became eligible to campaign again.
A Libertarian party official also told the Post that Larson was expelled from the Libertarian Party of Virginia last year.
Larson is not the only person associated with white nationalist groups running for state or federal office in the country this year. So far, at least eight white nationalists are running for office across the country in 2018, NBC News reported this week, citing data from the Southern Poverty Law Center.
