NBA Hall of Famer Dennis Rodman arrived in Singapore on Monday ahead of a summit between President Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un.

Rodman, whose trip to the country was sponsored by a digital currency for marijuana purchases called Potcoin, arrived hours before the Tuesday summit.

The former NBA player and “Celebrity Apprentice” contestant has visited North Korea five times and met with Kim, whom he has called “a friend for life.”

Rodman told reporters on Monday to keep their expectations low ahead of the meeting between Trump and Kim, which is slated to become the first-ever meeting between a sitting U.S. president and North Korean leader.

“People best not expect so much the first time,” Rodman said. “I’m hoping, like I said, that the door’s opening.”

“It’s exciting to be a part of it,” Rodman added.

Trump said last week that Rodman was not invited to the summit. However, the player has said that he will “give whatever support is needed to my friends,” referring to Trump and Kim.
