FBI agent who accidentally shot man while doing backflip allowed to carry gun again: report
The FBI agent who accidentally shot a man while doing a backflip at a nightclub last month is permitted to carry his service weapon again, The Denver Post reported Tuesday.
A judge amended a protection order to allow Chase Bishop to carry the weapon both on and off duty “so long as it is done in a manner pursuant to FBI policy,” a Denver district attorney spokesman told the newspaper.
Bishop was charged with second-degree assault last month after he accidentally shot a man at a Denver nightclub.

A video of the incident shows the agent dancing and performing a backflip, during which he drops his gun.
When Bishop picked up the weapon it discharged, striking a man. The agent was off duty at the time of the incident.
The nightclub, Mile High Spirits, has offered free drinks “forever” to the man shot in the incident.
The victim, who was shot in the leg, was reported to have a “good prognosis” at the time of the shooting.
