A pair of fake Russian soldiers stood guard at the remains of President Trump’s Hollywood Walk of Fame star, days after a man destroyed it with a pickax.
The two stonefaced men, dressed in olive green uniforms and thick hats, were spotted “protecting” the star on Hollywood Boulevard this week.
The guards also reportedly braved the 90 degree California heat in their heavy outfits and were also seen carrying a Russian flag.
Austin Clay was arrested by Los Angeles Police for the vandalism after claiming responsibility for the damage.
Clay, however, was bailed out of jail by James Otis, a man who previously vandalized the star with a sledgehammer and pickax days before the November 2016 election.
A violent brawl broke out between Trump supporters and opponents at the site of the vandalism on Thursday.
Footage obtained by TMZ shows protesters chanting “F— Donald Trump” near the president’s destroyed star on one side of the sidewalk.
On the other side, a group of Trump supporters stood surrounding what appeared to be a cardboard cut-out of the president.
According to TMZ, no arrests have been made.
The star, which Trump received in 2007 for his role on NBC’s “The Apprentice,” was also defaced with spray paint in 2016.
