Omarosa: Trump looked at me ‘inappropriately’
Former White House aide Omarosa Manigault Newman says that President Trump talked to and acted “inappropriately” around her, adding that he does the same “with all women.”
“Donald Trump hits on all women. He acts inappropriately with all women,” Manigault Newman said in an interview with SiriusXM host Joe Madison on Wednesday.
“Yes, I’m included in that number of women who Donald Trump has said inappropriate things, has looked at inappropriately,” she added when pressed.
The former Trump aide, who has been at war with the White House surrounding the release of her tell-all book this week, went on to describe her former boss as a “dog off the leash” around women.
Manigault Newman’s new book, “Unhinged: An Insider Account of the Trump White House,” has drawn numerous headlines over the past few days with damaging claims about the president and his administration, including an assertion that a recording exists of Trump using the “N-word” during a taping of “The Apprentice.”
Manigault Newman was fired from the White House last year and is currently being targeted for arbitration by the Trump campaign for allegedly breaking a confidentiality agreement she signed in 2016 while working on Trump’s campaign.
The White House has denied the claims made in her book, which it characterizes as baseless allegations made by a disgruntled ex-employee.
Trump himself has repeatedly attacked Manigault Newman on Twitter this week, calling her a “crazed, crying lowlife” and a “dog.”
“When you give a crazed, crying lowlife a break, and give her a job at the White House, I guess it just didn’t work out. Good work by General Kelly for quickly firing that dog!” Trump wrote on Tuesday, referring to his chief of staff John Kelly.
Trump has frequently faced criticism for his treatment of women since the early days of his campaign, controversy which only intensified in 2016 with the release of an “Access Hollywood” tape in which the president can be heard making vulgar comments about grabbing women.
