Simpsons executive producer says he would ‘love’ Trump to guest star

The executive producer of “The Simpsons” said he would “love” to have President Trump guest star on the popular show that has been running for decades.

James Brooks, an executive producer for all of the show’s thirty years on Fox, listed Trump as a “dream” guest star on the show — but based his dream on one condition.

“We’ve never had a president [on the show],” Brooks said during a panel discussion over the weekend, according to Deadline. “But I think I’d love to have this president — if he’d read the script as written.”

{mosads}Voiceover specialist Harry Shearer added that Trump’s “not a good reader.”

Yeardley Smith, the voice of Lisa Simpson on the show, then joked that they should have the script in pictures for Trump.

There is a slim chance Trump would appear on the show that has a penchant for knocking him, both during his time before taking office and since he became president.

Previously, the show’s executive producer Al Jean said they turned down a past request from Trump to do a voiceover prior to his time in the White House.
