11 injured in New Jersey shooting
A drive-by shooting outside a bar in New Jersey early Saturday injured 11 people
Ten people were shot and another suffered abrasions in the Trenton, N.J. incident, NJ.com reported, citing police.
One person was critically injured, but authorities expect all of the victims to survive, according to the outlet.
The city’s mayor, Reed Gusciora (D), called upon the federal government to take action to prevent gun violence.
“Many young people are afraid to go out in the street because of gun violence,” he said, according to NJ.com. “It’s indicative of gun violence across America, there are shootings every day. The federal government needs to address this.
