‘The View’ co-host Abby Huntsman gives birth to twins

Abby Huntsman, co-host of “The View” and daughter of Ambassador to Russia Jon Huntsman, gave birth to twins Wednesday night, according to a tweet from the show.

“THEY’RE HERE! We’re excited to share that @HuntsmanAbby gave birth to a healthy boy and girl last night and everyone is doing well! Meet Ruby Kate and William Jeffrey — congratulations to mom, dad Jeff and big sister Isabel!” The show’s official Twitter account shared.

Ruby was born first at 9:45 p.m., weighing 5 pounds, 12 ounces. Little brother William was born 20 minutes later at 5 pounds, 4 ounces, according to ABC News.

The babies join the family’s 1-year-old daughter Isabel Grace and a golden retriever, George.

Huntsman announced the news after the show’s winter hiatus this season, sharing a story of how her husband, Jeffrey Livingston, fainted upon hearing the news she was pregnant with twins at a doctor’s appointment.

“I was sitting there with my feet in the stirrups with the robe on and he passes out,” Huntsman said, according to ABC.

Huntsman also announced that this pregnancy was special because it meant she and her two sisters, Mary Anne and Liddy, would all be pregnant at the same time.

Huntsman shared a photo of her and her sisters together in New York City last month on Instagram.

“A moment in time we’ll never forget..three sisters pregnant together in NYC. If only they had special sister super powers to cure my acid reflux and insomnia…I’d even gladly accept a motorized scooter to help me move more than a block from home. Love these girls so much and can’t wait to meet their little angels. You’re up first @liddyhuntsman,” the host posted on Instagram.
