TSA suspends two agents after noose found in Miami airport

Two Transportation Safety Administration (TSA) agents were suspended after a noose was found at Miami International Airport, the agency said Tuesday.

Officials found the “offensive display” on the nonpublic side of the airport, and officers immediately reported it to TSA management, the agency said in a statement.

{mosads}“The display was immediately removed and an investigation was launched into who was responsible for the unacceptable behavior,” the statement said.

The TSA did not identify what the display was, but multiple local reports said that a noose had been found on display in the baggage screening area.

Two TSA officers, whose identities weren’t released, were placed on administrative leave while the investigation continues.

“TSA does not tolerate racist or offensive behavior and those found responsible will be held accountable for their actions,” officials said.
