Trump campaign starts selling ‘Fredo Unhinged’ T-shirt after viral Cuomo video

President Trump’s reelection campaign is selling T-shirts mocking Chris Cuomo after the CNN anchor got into a heated, profanity-laced argument with someone who called him “Fredo.”

The shirt being sold by Trump’s campaign includes the label “Fredo unhinged” and “text ‘Fredo’ to 88022,” alongside images of Cuomo from a video of the confrontation.

Although it is unclear where the video was filmed, it shows Cuomo threatening and cursing at a man who allegedly mocked him by calling him Fredo, a character from the film “The Godfather.” The host also compared using the word against Italian people to using the N-word against black people.

{mosads}”Punk ass bitches from the right call me Fredo,” Cuomo says in the video. “My name is Chris Cuomo. I’m an anchor on CNN. Fredo is from ‘The Godfather.’ He was a weak brother and they use it as an Italian aspersion.”

On Trump’s campaign site for the shirt it says “CNN’s Chris Cuomo is Fredo!” above “The truth hurts. He totally lost it” and “Help us annoy Chris Cuomo and buy your ‘Fredo Unhinged Tee’ now!”

Trump jabbed at Cuomo over the incident earlier Tuesday, calling him “nuts” and questioning whether he would qualify for a “red flag” gun control measure, which allows authorities to take weapons away or keep weapons from a person deemed dangerous.

“I thought Chris was Fredo also,” the president tweeted. “The truth hurts. Totally lost it! Low ratings @CNN.”

Cuomo addressed the video earlier Tuesday, writing “Appreciate all the support but – truth is I should be better than the guys baiting me.”
