Passengers evacuated a terminal of Newark Liberty International Airport on Monday night before officials declared there was no threat in the area.
The incident at the Terminal A-3 Satellite was deemed a false alarm, the airport tweeted, though it’s unclear what caused the disruption.
All passengers and employees were rescreened as a precautionary measure, officials said.
The announcement comes after video posted to Twitter showed travelers quickly leaving the terminal with some luggage left behind in the hurried exit.{mosads}
The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, which operates the airport, did not immediately respond to a request for comment from The Hill.
