Trump Jr. knocks Clinton in new book dedicated to ‘DEPLORABLES’

Donald Trump Jr. took a jab at former Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton in his new book, “Triggered: How the Left Thrives on Hate and Wants to Silence Us,” dedicating it to the “DEPLORABLES.”

“I dedicate this book to the DEPLORABLES,” he wrote, according to Axios. “While the elite of the other party look down on you and would rather you stay silent, I salute your work ethic, patriotism, and values. America wouldn’t be great without your blood, sweat, and tears.”

He continued, “I will always stand with you! I am proudly one of you.”{mosads}

President Trump and his supporters blasted Clinton during the 2016 presidential race after the former secretary of State described a portion of his supporters as belonging to a “basket of deplorables” including racists, xenophobes and homophobes during a fundraiser.

Clinton’s comments quickly sparked backlash.

The former secretary of State also used the term in May, describing “what we have seen over the last several years” as “truly deplorable.”

Trump Jr. has also trolled Democrats by launching a website where fans can send a copy of the book to major Democratic Party figures — including Clinton, Speaker Nancy Pelosi (Calif.) and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (N.Y.) — and Sen. Mitt Romney (R-Utah), a vocal critic of the president, in an effort to spur interest for the book while “having some fun.”

Trump Jr.’s new book was released on Tuesday.
