A man in Nashville, Tenn., has been arrested after allegedly attacking a couple with a machete after becoming angry that he could not access a charity that feeds homeless individuals due to a coronavirus-related shutdown.

Kelvin Edwards, 35, was arrested and charged with two counts of attempted murder after severely injuring a husband and wife in the attack, according to Nashville police. Six police officers who responded to the scene used multiple tourniquets to save the couple’s lives, according to a police Twitter account.
