Former President Clinton to attend netroots convention
After traveling to North Korea last week to secure the release of two imprisoned American journalists, former President Bill Clinton will spend next weekend in a less exotic locale; Pittsburgh.
That’s the site of this year’s “Netroots Nation,” a gathering of liberal activists and bloggers.
According to a Daily Kos blog, Clinton is scheduled to discuss the “new progressive era.”
This year’s convention, which used to be called “YearlyKos,” is the fourth annual gathering of the “netroots.”
