The fountain of public polling info that is Quinnipiac University has another New York poll out today. There are no huge shifts, but to keep an eye on the plotlines:
-Appointed Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-N.Y.) is still unknown to about two-thirds of voters, and she still trails in a potential primary challenge. But she has closed the gap. Though her approval (33 percent) is much higher than her disapproval (13 percent), Gillibrand still trails Rep. Carolyn McCarthy (D-N.Y.), 33-29.
In mid-February, Gillibrand trailed McCarthy, 34-24. And McCarthy is slightly more unknown that Gillibrand.
