After negative comments, Steele’s site redirects to RNC

After receiving negative comments on its blog, the now-obsolete “Steele for Chairman” website redirects readers to the Republican National Committee’s (RNC) website.

Liberal blog The New Argument pointed Tuesday to the flood of negative comments flooding onto the blog on RNC Chairman Michael Steele’s website he used during his campaign for chairman of the GOP.

The comments flowed into Steele’s website after the chairman criticized conservative talk radio host Rush Limbaugh, comments for which Steele later apologized.

As of 12:40 a.m. Friday, the “Steele for Chairman” website now redirects to GOP.com, the homepage of the RNC.
