VIDEO: AUC compares Obama to JFK
Americans United for Change is going up with another TV advertisement on Wednesday promoting President Obama’s plans for job creation and hitting Republicans for their opposition.
The ad draws parallels between Obama and President John Kennedy.
“Fifty years ago a young President challenged us to put a man on the moon,” the narrator says. “John Kennedy’s vision put America in the forefront of the technological revolution that created the jobs of the future — for a generation Americans.
“Today President Obama has challenged us again – to create the jobs of the future for our generation – millions of clean energy jobs.”
And, as it has in the past, the group labels the GOP as the “party of no.”
“But the oil companies and the Republicans just say no,” it says.
The ad is going on D.C. cable on Tuesday and will run through the end of the week, so not a particularly large ad buy. Check it out below:
