Hoyer: Ohio ‘Pretty Much Makes It Over’
Fox News called Ohio for Barack Obama shortly after 9 p.m., but it took the news a few minutes to filter in to the main ballroom at a Congressional Democrats party at the Hyatt Regency. None of the mega-screens in the room carry Fox.
But at 9:07 p.m. a spontaneous cheer went up and hands shot up in the air when MSNBC declared that the biggest swing state in the Electoral College was going for the Democrat.
