Obama Wins New Mexico, His Second Red State
Barack Obama has won New Mexico, a state won by President Bush in 2004.
MSNBC and Fox News called the state for the Democrat. New Mexico had been won by Vice President Al Gore in 2000.
It’s the second state that Obama has flipped of the night. He has already won Ohio, according to projections by MSNBC, CNN, Fox News and National Public Radio.
