Report: Steele and Bloomberg to host NY event April 1

Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairman Michael Steele and New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg on April 1st.

According to the New York Observer, Steele, Bloomberg, and the New York Republican Party will host a coffee next Wednesday as Bloomberg has been courting GOP-ers as he mulls rejoining their party.

The event also would mark a conspicuous appearance in the Northeast for Steele, who has poured hundreds of thousands into the special election in New York’s 20th congressional district, and has vowed to spur on the rebound of the party in the region.
