GOP Taking Suggestions for Platform on Website
Want to tell the Republicans what they should include in their party platform this year?
Go to the new website for the party’s platform committee.
Republicans, hoping for more grassroots involvement, said they’ll take into consideration suggestions for platform planks made on the site. The site accepts videos, text messages and regular Web posts.
The front page of the site, launched today, includes videos from GOP Chairman Mike Duncan and platform committee members Rep. Kevin McCarthy (R-Texas) and Sen. Richard Burr (R-N.C.).
