Conway’s cocktail fundraiser

Kentucky Attorney General Jack Conway (D) will trek to DC this week for a cocktail reception fundraiser with some fellow Kentucky pols.

Conway, who’s taking on Lt. Gov. Dan Mongiardo (D) for the chance to snag Sen. Jim Bunning’s (R-Ky.) seat, will be feted by Rep. Ben Chandler (D-Ky.), Rep. John Yarmuth (D-Ky.), Louisville Mayor Jerry Abramson, Kentucky Speaker of the House Greg Stumbo and Kentucky Auditor Crit Luallen tomorrow evening.

Yarmuth’s attendance more or less guarantees a good time will be had by all. Why? Because if anyone can throw a good cocktail party, it’s the founder of the Congressional Bourbon Caucus!

Ticket prices start at $250. “Supporters” must chip in $500, followed by “co-hosts” at $1000 ($2500 for a PAC), and “hosts” at $2400 ($5000 for PACs).
