McCain Gets Mixed Reaction At D’Backs Game
When John McCain watched the Arizona Diamondbacks lose Sunday to the New York Mets in Phoenix, “he was greeted with subdued cheers, and a smattering of boos,” reports the Associated Press. McCain, who at one point was shown on the stadium’s video screen, sat near the Diamondbacks’ dugout with his wife, Cindy.
The reaction to McCain, however, was much warmer than the one President Bush received when throwing out the first pitch at Nationals Park in March.
