Shuster endorses Toomey
Rep. Bill Shuster (R-Pa.) became the third member of Pennsylvania’s congressional delegation to endorse former Rep. Pat Toomey’s (R-Pa.) Senate candidacy, further cementing Toomey as the GOP’s likely candidate in 2010.
Shuster joins Reps. Charlie Dent (R-Pa.) and Joe Pitts (R-Pa.) in backing Toomey.
“Over the next year and a half, I look forward to campaigning along side Bill on the campaign trail,” Toomey said. “Together, we can restore balance to Washington and fight for policies that will get the economy moving again and create jobs.”
