Geithner Meets With Kyl
Treasury secretary nominee Timothy Geithner paid a private visit to Senate Minority Whip Jon Kyl (R-Ariz.) Wednesday to discuss his coming confirmation hearing.
Geithner and two aides came to the Senate and met with Kyl for 20 minutes. Kyl is a member of the Finance Committee, which will scrutinize Geithner next month.
Geithner would not comment when asked how the meeting went.
