President Obama is an “ignoramous” for accusing Venezuelan leader Hugo Chavez of aiding the spread of terrorism, Chavez said Sunday.
“He goes and accuses me of exporting terrorism: the least I can say is that he’s a poor ignoramus; he should read and study a little to understand reality,” Chavez said on his weekly television show. “My, what ignorance; the real obstacle to development in Latin America has been the empire that you today preside over.”
Chavez said that he’d reserved judgment on Obama when he first took over from President Bush, with Reuters reporting that he’d hoped to send a Venezuelan ambassador to Washington.
